Account Information: When you register or sign in via Google OAuth, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture to create your professional profile and facilitate communication.
Transactional Data: We store history of bids, accepted offers, and scheduled call metadata to provide your user dashboard and history.
Payment Data: All financial transactions are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store or have access to your full credit card details.
3. Google User Data Policy & Limited Use
Rent My Time's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere toGoogle API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Detailed Usage of Google Calendar Scopes:
We request access to https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events strictly for the following purposes:
- Automated Scheduling: When a bid is accepted, we programmatically create a calendar event with the meeting details (time, video link, participant info).
- Availability Checking: We query "busy/free" status to prevent double-booking during the auction process.
Data Minimization Commitment:
- We DO NOT read, access, or store the details (titles, descriptions) of your private events.
- We DO NOT share your calendar data with third-party tools, AI models, or advertising platforms.
- We ONLY modify events that were created by Rent My Time.
4. Data Storage & Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your data is only shared with essential service providers (like Stripe for payments or Google for scheduling) to fulfill the core functionality of our platform. We implement industry-standard AES-256 encryption to protect stored data.
5. Your Control & Rights
You have the right to access, update, or delete your data at any time. You can manage your account settings directly in your dashboard.
Revoking Access: You can disconnect your Google Calendar or revoke all permissions at any time via yourGoogle Security Settings.
